Early pregnancy unit at st Thomas?

Is there a unit at st Thomas and can you walk in or do you have to be referred by the gp? My gp has no appointment until two weeks time by which time it will be too late for tests.

There is one at kings

But what tests are needed? If its 12 week scan etc, that's provided in a different dept

I used the one in St Thomas, walk in, but this was 6 years ago.

Walk in when I used it 3 years ago. I think I called to check. Have a feeling was only walk in until 4pm when I was a patient.

St Thomas EPU is wonderful, I have used it several times recently. At King's it is walk-in but you end up waiting a long time. At St Thomas you walk in as well, the only condition is that you are actually pregnant. You are then seen by a triage nurse within about 15 mins, she then books you in for a scan. Last time the scan time was an hr away, I work closeby so I just had some lunch and came back. Staff is lovely (as is King's staff btw). Good luck.
