Best money we've ever spent! Our daughter absolutely refused to sleep through the night or to sleep in her cot during the day - would only sleep if I was pushing her in her pram so would spend hours each day walking (I have never been so skinny as when I was on maternity leave!). Katie helped us when our daughter was 9 months old, it took two nights and daughter who is now 6 years old has slept through the night ever since.

We used Iva from Sleepy Little Angels. She came highly recommended and was absolutely brilliant. I couldn?t handle any of the hardcore method. We did an adapted Ferber method starting at 2 mins, 2 mins, 4 mins, 4 mins etc. Also did it at 9 months because I had no way to put him back to sleep when he woke at night without breastfeeding, which he didn?t need as he was on 3 meals a day. It took 2 nights and he cried less in total across those two nights than he did the night I made the sleep training decision (after I tried to cuddle him and calm him back to sleep but not feed him). She very much tailors the method to whatever you?re comfortable with.

We will definitely use her again with our second baby.

One thing I would strongly recommend is not to use any of the remote consultation services. From our experience you need someone in the house with you, holding your hand and guiding you through it when it?s 3am. The remote arrives cost about ?250 for a telephone call. I think we paid ?650 for two nights of having Iva stay with us and guide us through exactly what to do and when to go in etc.

    • Disagree. Where are the police when you need them? People want a police presence, they want to feel reassured by seeing them do what the word suggests, policing, so go catch some bad guys, arrest, charge and get the CPS to prosecute with the evidence to enable this to happen. Stabbing and shootings are so common place they no longer even get reported in the public domain. How many crimes don't get solved? Rather case closed and forgotten. The number of low to high level crimes which remain unsolved is staggering.  The criminal fraternity know this, they know they won't get caught so they just carry on.  Biggest crimes which affect most people, probably are phone and car theft, both are prolific and what do the police do, diddly squat. zilch, nothing, provide a crime reference number and the case is closed. Not good enough, not by a country mile.   Met Engage? I don't think so.

Recent data suggests a drop in violent crime. Gang violence will make a significant contribution to the numbers. You are unlikely to be attacked by a stranger
    • Unfortunately there are plenty of shops which don't care and will sell vapes, alcohol and weed to minors, I'm sure they won't care about selling them fireworks. Or the kids nick them.
    • It’s getting a bit annoying. We’ve a nervous dog who trembles when they go off. I know to expect it around Halloween and Diwali but it seems to be happening more through the year.
