bicycle wash...query

What's the going rate for the local car washes (like the one near Iceland) to clean my push bike?

All sealed parts so not fussed about a hose being let loose on it...

My advice (see my mobile cycle repair thread) is DON'T do it. They will blast water into your bearings and they will probably be trashed before long.

A sponge and warm water followed by a gentle dry and oiling with an old t-shirt will sort it out.

Failing that, give me a call!

It's a 10 year old steed with sealed bearings so a few seconds with a pressure hose will do no harm

12000 miles and two years since the last wash, so a sponge and warm water isn't going to cut the mustard

Just wanted to know how much to pay, will take it down tomorrow and see what they say :-)
