Hi there,

I have a question for any buggy experts out there. We have the Baby Jogger City ELITE;

http://www.babyjogger.co.uk/cityelite.php

I am looking for a footmuff for this buggy. A friend of mine has the Baby Jogger City MINI and has said how disappointed he is by the frustrating Baby Jogger footmuff because it always slips down the back part of the buggy and can't ever stay in place.

As I know nothing about buggies and I am in the very early days of it all, I was wondering if any EDF Mummies or Daddies use a B.J.C Elite and if you have a non Baby Jogger footmuff? Can I just pick any make? I went up to John Lewis the other day but the assistant wasn't at all helpful. There were some lovely footmuffs there but I had no idea if they'd fit.

Thank you for your help and apologies for such a dull posting!

I had a Baby Jogger Summit XC and used a BuggySnuggle which worked very well. Now I have BabyJogger City Versa and I have a Kaiser Footmuff which is lovely and fits very well. The baby jogger footmuffs are not great especially as they don't come up very high.
I've had two Kaiser footmuffs for our Baby Jogger City Mini, the sheepskin bag one for the baby stage and the longer, zip up the middle one for the toddler stage. They attach on with the straps and do slip a bit (especially the larger one) but the footmuffs themselves are so good it outweighs that problem.

    • @Jenijenjen I assure you we are always polite and friendly too! Which is why the behaviour we have been receiving is so frustrating. The kids always leave her with a “Thank you have a lovely day”  Our concern is leaving the gate slightly wedged doesn’t stop the action of slamming it open and closed…still leading to damage
    • If you're talking about who I think you are, I find them more exuberant than rude and usually smiling and polite. But then, I'm usually smiling and polite to them. Can you not wedge open your gate when you're expecting them?
    • It worked. Corbyn did similar although not to the same degree. Momentum had a purge too when Corbyn got in. All his political life he opposed the EU but when it came to the crunch he publicly backed them during the referendum. I believe that was to appease the middle classes that he was appealing to. He messed up big time when wooing the middle classes at Glastonbury whilst ignoring his core working class voters up north. They also happened to be leave voters. He got starstruck and forgot about his politics. Corbynmania was thing, a movement but it was also the making of his downfall. For the many and not the few came back and slapped him right in the face.
    • Nothing to do with the tories overspending whatsoever eh! Blame the last 10/11 years of blatant mismanagement, incompetence and willful deceit on the poor bastards that were left with the fall out of a complete car crash tory government.   One PM after another falling on their sword. Open corruption and piss taking throughout covid and a legacy of huge debt and destruction yet in your view it will be labour's 4 years in power that bankrupts us in 2029.  Another one that must think people are blind and stupid.  Rejoice rejoice. It's a pity he and his fellow clowns were completely annihilated at the ballot box. I mean they were doing so well after all 🙃🙃
