6th Form colleges - Central London?

Just thinking ahead to 6th Form options for my youngest in case he can’t get into a local 6th Form such as Charter East, Charter North, or Kingsdale because their published admission number is just 30 each for external applicants. I was wondering about one of the Central London colleges like Westminster Kingsway, City of Westminster, or CANDI - do any local 16-18s go to those Central London colleges?

It might also be worth looking at Westminster City School in Victoria. They seem to be developing some impressive links with industry for their sixth form students (including a scholarship scheme for university fees).

Yes they do, also Harris Westminster. I do think most local sixth formers do stay with one of the relatively local options. It's worth looking at St Thomas the Apostle and Harris ED both which have a mixed 6th form. Haberdashers also take in a large number of external students at sixth form level and Christ the King 6th form college in Brockley is another local option.
