Are the dust people working today?

Hello all, A few weeks ago my food waste was not collected and I was informed this was due to the warm weather. Its currently 29C and not seen the dust cart, is it too hot today for the dust people to work again? I tried the councils website, but could not find anything :(

Southwark is collecting with a bit of disruption. Tuesday is our normal day we but hadn't had green bin collection for two consecutive dates, they collected this morning. Brown bin has been fine [on Underhill].

They usually collect our bins on Tuesday but it was collected today

During the very hot weather Veolia seems to be sending their collectors home at 11.00 am - this means that bins unemptied on the correct day will be emptied the day following. In terms of staff wellbeing (and indeed health) this seems the right idea.
