Boris Johnson moving to Dulwich Village? What have we done to deserve this? ;-)

Recommended Posts

I’d like to know if he paid cash for it as he seemingly did for his other recent real estate acquisition. If

that's a bit nosy (I’d like to know if he paid cash for it) so what if he did ?

He won't have paid a penny for it.

There'll be some billionaire Brexit backer / Tory donor / media mogul who has bought it as a "gift" for him.

Really don't understand why peeps are interested in that scummy sh*t bag liar?

Well it's useful to know where the paparazzi are going to be camped out!

And you KNOW THAT for a fact HE NEVER PAID FOR IT ? you need to be careful what you THINK AND WHAT YOU SAY its not good ... BUT MAYBE YOU THINK IT IS or are you a little bit jealous he's got a house in the posh dulwich and as you say for FREE... I say good luck to any one who gets a house for free ...as you can see I AM NOT A JEALOUS PERSON unlike some ??

(I’d like to know if he paid cash for it) so what if he did ?

Before he entered No.10, he was camped out at Carrie's flat in Camberwell because he'd lost everything in his latest divorce. In No.10, he shook the tree among donors in an opaque scheme to decorate his residence. If after No.10 he was plonking down cash to buy multimillion pound properties when his legitimate earnings could not have been the source of those funds, that would be very suspicious.

There are reports that he has received £5 million since leaving No 10 seven months ago

And if he did get 5 million so what ANOTHER ONE WHO SEEMS TO BE OBSESSED with this man why ???

are you a little bit jealous he's got a house in the posh dulwich and as you say for FREE... I say good luck to any one who gets a house for free

This might surprise you, Ken, but politicians don't get houses for cheap or free because they're lucky. They get them because they've done someone a favour. A favour big enough that it has to be paid for, but dodgy enough that it can't be officially paid for.

Still, don't worry, I'm sure nothing like that could ever happen in the UK.

My my my how jealous the dulwich bods are why if you boys don't want the former prime minister to move in ...easy MOVE as you seem to think dulwich now is going down hill ...First the pound shop now boris what next soup kitchen or a lidl or aild???

I don't know about soup kitchens, Ken, I think the nearest one is on Coldharbour Lane. But I know food banks already operate in this neighbourhood. In fact, there are more food banks than McDonalds in this country. It's one of the legacies of Tory austerity that so many are needed. I think I'll save my good luck wishes for those who need food banks, not politicians that get houses for free, like you, Ken.

You wouldn't have thought Johnson moving to Herne Hill will bring Dulwich downmarket - but he did manage to bring the whole country downmarket, so anything is possible...

Completely predictably, Johnson's million pound private loan (no mortgage applications for him!) was fixed up by...a Tory donor that Johnson subsequently appointed Chair of the BBC. @exdulwicher please award yourself a Mystic Meg medal for predicting this earlier on the thread.

    • Wow, well served with local supermarkets then…  Agree with ATM.. good c position to been mugged or cloned card - prob why not been considered before. Wasn’t there one outside post office and still  is2where people were abit nervous of using? Hope I am wrong but won’t see me rushing to use it…sure lots of folk will benefit thou. Not a great fan or user of Iceland but when it closed years ago people complained..  Guess they only b look at bigger sites - can’t recall an express one but a pity to those who frequent the store. Strange that Tesco can use it as local but Iceland can’t - guess it is  power of large supermarkets. Personally would have  loved an Aldi or Lidl but  clearly site to small. Only grocery stores left to come are Waitrose, Aldi, Lidl…
    • I'm paying £31 pcm for full fibre 300, whatever that is. I'm not sure it's a particularly good deal now, but I did a comparison at the time I went onto it, and it was then. I don't have a landline any more, and my mobile is with iD, who piggyback off 3. I don't usually have any problems,  except once a few years back when the whole 3  network (?) went  down for quite a long time.
    • I have Plusnet too.   I recently (August) had some problems with WiFi connection on different days but and the turning off and turning on didn’t work.  The WiFi didn’t work for quite a few hours - overnight in one case but eventually rectified itself.   Would be interested to know how much other people pay for Plusnet. I also have a landline with them as the mobile signal is bad inside house.  That is with EE and I want to change from them to another provider.
