Train behaviour...

Off the back of the "Gross Women" thread, upon which so many seemed to have something to say - I thought I would pose this to you all......

I was on the train to work this morning, standing by the doors, and stood next to me was a man with a pad and a pencil busily sketching other commuters on the train (quite well, I might add). The "subjects" of his work were sat in the carriage and none the wiser.

Now, if you knew you were being drawn on the way to work of a morning, would you be flattered or is this some kind of violation?!?!

The real WTF is that he had the elbow room to do sketching.

On my commute I'd be hardpressed to move my phone camera enough to do a decent upskirt picture!!

I know I'm getting old when I think that a lot of people are just bloody lazy when they would rather go through the commuting crush than travel a bit earlier.

...or perhaps they have to drop off their kids at nursery before needing to jog to the train to catch it in order to get to work on time.

Unless it is in contravention of the train operators terms and conditions (which I doubt), then as you are in a public place he has every right to sketch whomever he wants. Or even (gasp!) photograph!

As long as he doesn't sketch any "gross women" putting on their make up because then I'd have no idea who to hate the most....
