Pneumatic drill on a Friday night??

Who the heck is drilling at 10.30pm on a Friday night at the Dulwich library end of Lordship Lane?? Assume it’s the same people who started drilling at 6am this morning.

Is there a law against that and/or a way to get them to shut up that actually works?

So pissed hardly had any sleep last night, it's on Friern Road, could they not do this in the daytime?!

Gas leak apparently. Two houses evacuated. The workmen say they hope to finish the drilling soon!

Just reported it to Southwark noise team 0207 525 5777, regulations say they should do between 9-6 unless it's an emergency but that was last night and why they didn't drill during daylight hours rather than in pitch dark 2nights in row. They're sending people down to check as it's a possible breach.

Around here we had pneumatic drills going at 2:30am in the middle of the night last week. They seemed to be digging a giant hole in the middle of the road in preparation for work the next day.

Didn't bother me too much personally, I was up anyway but it was a bit weird.
