  1. Hi is lordship lane open again where can we find any official info or updates as the TFL website doesn't seem to show or maybe I can't find where the info is?
  2. Just reported it to Southwark noise team 0207 525 5777, regulations say they should do between 9-6 unless it's an emergency but that was last night and why they didn't drill during daylight hours rather than in pitch dark 2nights in row. They're sending people down to check as it's a possible breach.
  3. So pissed hardly had any sleep last night, it's on Friern Road, could they not do this in the daytime?!
  4. I have some items if you want to pm me, think I still have a new jumper
  5. Hi if anyone needs spare uniform pm me, I have a brand new jumper never worn as well
  6. If it's the same guy I'm thinking of he plays a variety of music. One sunny day traffic at a standstill on Barry Road and he was playing some oriental instrumental music. Was really lovely.
  7. https://www.phoenixeyewingtsunlondon.co.uk/wing-tsun-in-dulwich Zoom classes but looking to reopen previously at Dulwich Infants school
  8. Hi planning our daughter's application torn between either Charter ED or Harris girls? Any views much appreciated 😁
  9. Can anyone pop down to join in skating my son would love that, great job guys
  10. I was down the lane at weekend with my child and had to go onto the road to keep a distance from other pedestrians. Had to dodge a few cyclists and scooters travelling at speed, heard one cyclist shouting at why people are walking in road. Can't see why they can't put barriers along both sides of the pavements which would be helpful. At the moment just looks like a free for all. It's not very comfortable
  11. I've reported this on commonspace already, it's been a problem even before the C19 pandemic. The bushes outside the block between Christchurch and the corner Florist on Barry Road/Lordship Lane is overgrown. This narrows the pavement making it difficult for people to walk without going into the road. During school run its particularly busy. It makes it v difficult to socially distance safely. Can something be done about this quickly? Getting so fed up I may take a machete to it myself!
  12. OMG that is such wonderful news where has she been?! Gosh I feel quite tearful or could it be the Prosecco! Happy new yearxx
  13. Hi yes check this https://www.phoenixeyewingtsunlondon.co.uk/wing-tsun-in-dulwich You can do free trial. Young kids, older kids and adult classes. Held at Dulwich Village infant school throughout the week.
  14. Lynne it's so true! Even chatting to the staff whilst hanging around on stairs at peak time which I've noticed as well. Feel you're interrupting them when you want to actually find out about train times or changes...
  15. Yes it was better before the renovations. Those designers should have been sacked. There's such a bottleneck at peak times I prefer to go to peckham tbh.
  16. Agree with rch it does seem to be a common event if not reporting for various reasons, and yes this could have implications for resources. Wonder how long police will take to respond to this.
  17. This is dreadful could one of the councillors on here help perhaps escalate matters? It is concerning that someone whatever the reason has this type of aggressive behaviour is not responded to given the risk to others and possibly themselves.
  18. To add to the problems...Bus stop opposite Denmark Hill station is closed, road is dug up. People need to either get off at top of champion hill or at Kings. Great..do they plan this on purpose to cause max disruption given schools starting today and many people return back to work?
  19. PlayStation issues are never straightforward with ours it's not connecting for some reason and really don't have the energy at the moment to try fix it better to have it off I think.
  20. Btw does anyone know about Denmark hill bus lane, couldn't see any signs and only saw bus stop along the road opposite the station. Have there been any successful challenges?
  21. I spoke to one of the fire officers apparently there was unidentified chemical leaking from someone's balcony.
  22. It would be good if it means we all get free WiFi😁I know that Local authorities get digital funding and if it would mean they could cut costs as more online self services and remote or agile working strategy gets rolled out. So I guess it's worth investing in if they can save.
  23. Never liked the Phoenix not even in 90s it's always had obnoxious staff. Much prefer going to Fox cheap n cheerful, bound to get served.
