I am looking for a venue to hold a christening reception. It will be a very small christening, max 15 people, but we have a tiny tiny flat, so it would be tight to host it here. The other problem is I would prefer to self cater, rather than use a pub/restaurants catering. Does such a venue exist?

  Why not donate straight to St Christopher's online and buy your tree from a small independent retailer like Paul at Indaco, 483 Lordship Lane. Next door to the old Barcelona bar. That way you can support the charity direct and a small local business direct. Much better than Pines and Needles who will probably send less of your money to charity.

  Not as much stress as on the tiny birds! Please don’t let your valid concern for one species overshadow that for many others. Bells give mice, shrews and birds etc. a better chance than no bell at all. Elastic collars are a good way of ensuring safety.
