Hi there

I am looking for someone to redecorate our back bedroom. Old wallpaper needs stripping and replacing (may possibly require some re-plastering in between which we can arrange separately if needed) with thermal wallpaper, which will also need to be painted.

We'd like to get this done over the next month.

Please call me if you would like to give us a quote for this: 07734 348650

Brad from All-Round Renovation. He mentioned on the forum a few days ago that he had a cancellation, so he may have availability.

Plenty of good reviews and a current EDF Sponsor. His reviews and contact details can be found here: https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=1279987

Hi

I had a fantastic decorator do my mum’s painting.

If anyone is looking for a great painter, Sergio did a wonderful job on my mum’s (Susie’s) exterior windows on Landells Road. He was very professional, tidy, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. After a lot of bodge jobs from other ‘professionals’, Sergio is like gold dust since he is very good at his trade.

His number is 07780154067 S M Da Silva

Tell him Susie recommended him.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
    • Some of us oldies would associate Grove with the old Grove Vale School (which I went to in the 1950s)
