KidKruger
Miele had packed-up after years.Gotta replace - any suggestions ?Looking for sturdy / good suction / cylinder rather than upright.any tips appreciated. Thanks KKps - also, does the Wattage rating necessarily always directly reflect suction power ? ianr
I have a stone age memory of vacuum cleaner carbon brushes needing occasional replacement. I've just had a quick google and am surprised to see that can sometimes still be so. Worth looking into? Have you contacted Miele to see if it could be repaired?I've got an old Miele cylinder vacuum in the loft which I'm keeping for building work use. It served me very well for years, but I have to say I much prefer my cordless Dyson upright. jazzer
Hi KK, I swear by Sebo, also German made but not known as well by the public in the UK, have had the same machine for probably 30 years and it works just as well today as it did on day one. all I have to buy are bags and filters and it keeps on running. They also make cylinder vacuum cleaners. They are not the cheapest but would not buy any other make. https://www.currys.co.uk/search?q=sebo Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/318484-cylinder-vacuum-cleaner-recommendations/#findComment-1606900 Share on other sites
