Has anyone had problems with it? Tried to get cash out today and got a receipt but no money.

Considering that stretch of LL has lost two ATMs at Barclays since Friday, it's not a surprise the Co-op and Post Office ATMs are being given a hammering.

There are two additional ATMs that charge a fee, Yildirim Off-licence at 93 LL charges £1.99 and Payless at 23 LL charges £1.85.

The reduction of cash machines across the board because more people are using card is leaving those who rely on cash with less options. Even Saisnbury's has reduced the ATMs at DKH from 2 to 1.

It's actually 5 ATMs lost because there were 3 inside including the machines that allow you to pay in cheques and not to mention all the times people tried to use the inside ATM only to be redirected back to the queue for the counter staff.

Another nail in the coffin of customer needs. Maintenance of banking profits is king!

I didn't mention the three indoors as they were apparently for Barclays customers only.

Now that Barclays has closed, I'm going to a branch in the West End instead as it's more convenient for me than going to Peckham.

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️
    • https://www.stanthonysprimary.co.uk/parents/admissions/admissions-1 Both my children went to St Anthony's and I feel it is a wonderful school... very inclusive of all faiths (they learn about all religions even though it's a Catholic school) and nurturing with great pastoral care and teaching. it's a real community of families and school staff and I was very sad when my youngest left for secondary this year.
    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
