My great aunt is missing. She was down from Birmingham visiting relatives in the Peckham area. She will be wearing a brown mac and we believe she may have a grey cabin suitcase with her. She is suffering from Alzheimer's and has been missing since 5am this morning. Her name is Cynthia but will also answer to Aunt Flo. Police are aware and is treating this as a high risk case. Please dial 999 if you see her on your whereabouts.

My sympathies, I know how stressful this is.

It will help if you can flier the area - usually the police will be happy to print fliers. Social media networks are very good for this kind of thing: Twitter and Facebook.

Talk to local taxi drivers, bus drivers and street cleaners and homeless people, they all have good networks.

Good luck.

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
