chris_i
Does anyone have a large, calm and friendly dog and wouldn't mind accompanying us on some on-lead walks (even if it's just 5 mins on the way to the park) and maybe something more adventurous later on?We've got a very small 7 month old Italian greyhound who is going through a nervous stage and despite happily spending two days a week with other dogs in daycare seems to be struggling with big dogs - he's had a few bad experiences involving big dogs recently including our guy running off on a walk and not coming back, and freaking out on lead after some friendly barking and an excited approach. He is, so far, never ever aggressive. We'd like to introduce him carefully to some gentle giants to try to attempt to correct any negative associations he might have. We only know people with small or medium sized dogs and are weary of approaching unknown dogs in the park! Can't offer much but happy to help out with any dog sitting needs should everyone get on well. We're a couple in our late thirties living between goose green and the rye.
