It’s that time of year again. Have you made a new year’s resolution to get out more, make friends locally and have a great time? You should join a choir!

Tongue & Groove are an award winning, amateur, no audition choir. We are based in East Dulwich (rehearsing above The Palmerston on Tuesday nights) and we are looking for new lower voice singers (Tenor, Bass and Baritone parts), to join us from 10th January.

We had a great 2022, starting the year as winners of a local community choir festival and ending it by singing live on BBC Radio London. We have big plans for 2023!

There is a short waiting list for soprano & alto singers, let us know if you would like to be added.

  Shame, that's a bit boring. At least the Poundland fulfilled the need of cheap basic toiletries.

  Andy Burke Plumber December 2025 Andy was recommended and I'm so glad he was! I generally don't like inviting strangers into my home for any reason really but when you have a repair you have no choice. Andy is a kind, very pleasant decent guy. But most of all he's, trustworthy, very knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about his work! He wants to solve the problem for you and keep the customer happy. He was very kind to work around my schedule to sort my repairs. I live alone and I'm very comfortable in his company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's what you want in a tradesman.   I walked by Honest Burger around lunchtime today and they had just opened. They haven’t publicly promoted the opening yet because they were focusing on the building work, but the guy I spoke to was really friendly. They’re giving away free lemonade as an opening promotion and mentioned that residents should download their app because they can get a free meal after buying a certain number of meals. Sounds like they also do takeaway as well. I told him that Honest had been trending on the EDF, so I would post about today’s opening.
