Hi, we are a local company with references and recommendations on this forum and would be happy to view and provide you with a free no obligation competitively priced quote. Has the subsidence problem been rectified? If not, the wall may be subject to further movement and it might be best to address this issue first. Also, it may be possible to recover the cost of the work under the terms of your insurance policy and it might be a good idea to look into this, if you have not already done so. If you would like us to quote, please call Ian on 07943569287 to arrange a convenient day and time to view. Kind regards. Donovan Construction (London) Ltd
While a carpenter was replacing my windows he discovered the back wall of our Victorian house was 'live' (becoming detached from inner wall). Fortunately I found JB Builders (MICKY on 07960-938-621) who were amazing and tackled the (huge) job quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend them. Good with estimates as well.

Lenny is a local handyman and has just finished a loft conversion for us and also does smaller jobs. He might be worth a call, we have refurbished our last three houses, but we have never had a building experience where we were 100% happy with every aspect of the work, until Lenny.

Hope he can help you out as much as he did me!

    • I’d like to recommend local plumber - James at Trelco Plumbing. I’ve used them twice now, for a kitchen tap replacement and a boiler repair. Both times they were able to attend at short notice, arrived on time and we are very happy with the work they have done. James is polite, responsive and easy to deal with. • Deptford Green and Elm Green anecdotally have a more realistic and compassionate to kids differing needs. Whether that is still the case i'm not sure. Having 3 boys at Charter i would seriously consider a boys school if you have them, Charter East really aren't geared up for the different educational needs of some boys and the challenging behaviour this frustration leads to. I have heard amazing things about St Thomas the Apostle boys school.
    • Thanks everyone for the great recommendations! I wouldn't normally go for vegan restaurants, but I've been to En Root and really liked it. Fresh and tasty.  The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton also sell their food, to eat in their cafe before or after a film (I don't think they sell the whole menu that you'd find in Peckham, but there is a good choice)
