Colleges which offer access courses?

Hey there,

I'm looking for a good college which offers access courses.. Somewhere not too far as I wouldn't want to live away.. Could someone please advise me?

I did call Southwark (now LeSoCo) .. But they don't offer the courses to under 19, will look at the other two, thanks!

Ah, I think you may have the same problem at Morley and Lambeth too. I think most access courses are 19+

Yeah that's the thing I'm having problems with.. You see, the universities offer them to 18's too but they cost ridiculous money, college would be better like that, if I could find one!

Have you looked at B Tech courses ,or HNC ,HND as an alternative route into uni if you lack a levels ?

Aha, lol.. Yeah Birkbeck is the only University I don't want to go to.. But apart from that universities cost way too much for these short courses! - Which are offered practically for free at colleges! In a bit of a mess :S

If the issue if that you need to complete in a year, how about one year of intensive A level courses? Some colleges offer them, though not sure about ones in this area. Have you tried going to Connexions?
