WE ARE HIRING - Market Stall Grill Chef - Part-time Saturday Job


Souvlaki Street, is a start up street food company based in London. We are a small, friendly and focussed team serving award-winning Greek wraps and we aim to deliver great Greek food with consistency and passion. We are currently looking to grow our team with experienced grill chefs.


Currently, we are trading at the weekly street food market on North Cross Road in East Dulwich every Saturday. We have a very busy year ahead with lots of extra weekend market dates added, festivals throughout the summer and we will be opening our first bricks and mortar site in the coming months.


REQUIREMENTS:

* You must be available to work Saturdays and some Sundays and weekdays.

* MUST have previous cooking/chef experience.

* Be an excellent team player.

* All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and speak English.

* A full and clean driving licence with over 5 years driving experience is a bonus.


WHAT’S ON OFFER:

* Chef positions start from £14ph

* We provide all of the necessary training & we offer excellent opportunities for learning and development within the business

* All overtime paid for

* 28 days paid holiday for full time or equivalent for part-time

* Working with a great team

* And of course FREE staff food on shift!

* We pay all our employees on PAYE unless via invoice works better for a team members circumstances (eg. self employed/ freelancer)

    • Nope that is boring,  I want something creative.  Maybe turn them into Xmas cards.  I understand from those daytime television programmes that don't involve buying houses, DIY, antiques, bargain hunting and the second World War that this is called 'upcycling'. AI suggests: Upcycling old cheque books can involve repurposing the paper from old checks into creative items like notebooks, journals, art pieces, gift tags, bookmarks, decorative paper, or even small boxes, by cutting, decorating, and assembling the paper to create new functional or decorative objects, while ensuring any personal banking information is properly obscured or removed.
