Posting this as I found it hard to find recommendations for IT support!

I woul highly recommend Zoltan 07891097260 who fixed my extremely slow running and glitchy Dell laptop and it now seems like a brand new machine.

He's based in Mitcham but travels all over - will come to you on his bike.

He can also help with Macs and phones/tablets - he worked as an 'apple genius' in the Mac store before doing this.

I thought the price was v reasonable for the time spent and how thorough he was. Nice guy who seemed trustworthy.

This is his website, though I found him via a more convoluted route! https://techgeniuz.co.uk/

After reading the above post I contacted Zoltan re my printer which had stopped working.  Zoltan advised that the printer was broken (it was 12 years old!) and suggested a new one, which I ordered and he installed for me.  He is very knowledgeable about anything techy and was most helpful as I also want to upgrade my software and possibly get a new laptop.  Zoltan was punctual, helpful and very pleasant. I will certainly be calling on his assistance again and would recommend him.

Zoltan of https://techgeniuz.co.uk/ recently provided us with an excellent service at a fair price.

On his first visit he patiently and clearly answered all my questions and gave me a verbal quote which was all I needed before asking him to carry out the following work on our family's tech:
Replacing the badly cracked Display/Top Section of a 5 year old MacBook Air at an acceptable  price below that of the Apple Store.
Replacing the water damaged keyboard on an 8 year old Dell Laptop and upgrading it; speeding it up considerably.
Uploading onto my iCloud via the repaired MacBook Air, all the photos, film clips and required documents from our very old, no longer used, Dell Desk Top soft drive.
Removing the soft drive from the Desk Top so I could keep it 'just in case' and dispose of the desk top safely.
Removing the soft drives from two ancient laptops so I could destroy them before disposing of them safely.
Advising us on adhoc iPhone and Laptop issues.

I would definitely contact him again the next time one of our laptops needs repairing.

Thank you Zoltan.

    • From what I have gathered from Bradbury Oak residents  I have spoken with, that at a meeting with RNIB earlier in the year, none of the residents were in favour of new build. There is the implication that rent rises are anticipated to help towards building costs. Rent is currently in the region of £300 pw - as with most sheltered housing (council and Housing Association), Since these rents also include maintenance charges, utility charges - Housing Benefit is only applicable to the actual 'rent element' per flat.
    • At the Dulwich Hill SNT meeting last night we spoke about Met. Engage. Dulwich Hill had signed up 185 households. Scheme  had been trialled in other parts of the country successfully and now the Met. Police are rolling it out, To the end of August, the Met Police had gathered 17,000 registrations which equites to 2% of households.
    • Personally, I think the death sentance should be brought back for anyone found to be harming animals.
    • When you dig into the site, there's an ancillary domain also involved in the system: neighbourhoodalert.co.uk;  and one pointed to by the latter as an example, stayintheknow.co.uk, which seems to have been set up by Lancashire.  All three long validated by Nominet and with same registrar.    metengage_etc_whois.txt
