Spiral/spring operated sash windows repair

I am looking for somebody to repair 4 sash windows, of the spring/spiral type. I have been quoted silly money to replace the whole windows, but I am pretty sure that if I found the right person, with experience in replacing the spring, I would not have to change them. The only thing that seems to be wrong with these windows is that they do not stay open anymore because the springs do not work.

Any suggestions and/or recommendations very welcome

Try the sash guy...www.thesashguy.co.uk... He's been recommended on here a few times!
