Traffic on ED Grove particularly bad

Really bad non- moving traffic on ED Grove at 16:40 ish … is this normal all the way down from LL to Herne Hill or has something happened? I haven’t walked up to LL at this time for a while so don’t know. Lots of cars doing U turns and terrible polluted air on my walk.

There's temporary traffic lights on eastdulwich Grove near the junction of towley Rd this morning about 9.30  the roads where choca block then

Not normal at all - the traffic has been standing the past 2 days and it isn't usually. The temporary lights outside JAGS for roadworks have led to tailbacks westbound from lordship lane right along to JAGS where the road is narrowed to a single carriageway.  I'm not sure what the works are for, but hoping they finish soon.
