Wanted: PT housekeeper from £18 plus an hour

Recommended Posts

Part-time housekeeper required for family of four in Dulwich Village. From £18 p/h ++

We are a friendly, hands-on family of four living in Dulwich Village and we're looking for a flexible housekeeper who is able to cook. Key responsibilities would be laundry, cleaning and cooking.

We are flexible for the right candidate but we'd ideally like an all rounder that can slot into our family life and lend a hand in helping the household run smoothly. And a child-friendly attitude is a must. A great communicator is also key so we know what's happening and when in this busy household, but also so we can support your role to the best of our abilities.

We are looking for someone with a keen eye for cleaning and the ability to manage weekly jobs as well as stay on top of a monthly rotation of 'spring' cleaning jobs.

Cooking will be a core responsibility and the ideal candidate would prepare healthy (ish!!) home-made daily meals for four and plan and cook fridge or freezer fills for the weekend.

We are quite flexible on hours for the right candidate (but minimum 20 hours a week) and ideally Mon-Thurs 1-6. Afternoons though are a must.

Please PM me

    • Any links?  I used mesh around my feeders to get rid of my starlings who were unwelcome visitors to the garden devouring food for the small garden birds.  Interestingly their numbers have plummeted across the country, nothing to do with festivals.  Not sure how important starlings are in local ecosystems.  Only see them in numbers in large car parks.  Labour will be ditching habitat protections on their build for growth programme so Gala will pale into insignificance. (Just found this draft so thought I'd post it even though discussion has moved on)
    • Yes, at least in London there is good public transport! I once lived in the middle of nowhere. There was one bus a week which took people into the nearest largeish town to shop in the morning, then brought them  back in the afternoon. Another world!  I never actually used the bus, because I had a (different) car!
