GP Recommendations East Dulwich

Hi everyone,

My husband and I have recently relocated to East Dulwich. We are in need of recommendations for a good GP surgery in the area. I've come across frightening Google reviews for some of the GPs, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

We’re delighted with The Gardens Surgery but you have to be in the right catchment. Check their website for the list of postcodes they cover.

The one to avoid is the Dulwich Medical Centre on Crystal Palace Road.

306 Medical Centre at 306 Lordship Lane is fine as well.

I'm also very happy with The Gardens.

I was with DMC and then Elm Lodge (in Herne Hill) but find The Gardens better than either of those.

Only one of the GPs at the gardens is male. They have had a high turnover of nurses. At least one of the receptionists is rude on phone (maybe that is history).

Apart from that....

And the gardens recorded announcement is designed to increase my blood pressure.

I have been with the Gardens a few months now and have found all the receptionists to be friendly, polite and helpful.
