Is this the right place for what used to be "about this forum"? Hopefully!

I have just posted in  the Events section, including a link to our ticket site and a link to our website, and although both the links are correct when editing, neither of them are coming up as the full links on the published post, so they are either going to the wrong place or not working at all.

Is this something I am doing wrong, or is it a forum glitch?

Hi Sue,

Its best to use the Contact Us link which you can find at the bottom of the website to ask me questions - that way it goes to my inbox.

To answer your question, there is a button at the top of the text editor for making a link. Press that and you'll see a popup. Just type the link URL in both of the fields in the popup (e.g. www.wegottickets.com/thegooseisout) and it will work

Ok, thanks!

The 'contact us" link is a bit lost beneath a load of other stuff, but also thanks for pointing it out!

The picture you've shown isn't what I see when I post, btw - I almost always use the app on my mobile.

If you are using a laptop, click the name at the top, then 'Account Settings'

If using a mobile, click 'More' at the bottom menu -> Account -> Account Settings

Or use the shortcut here: https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/settings/

Thanks, I did try that, I'm specifically looking for drafts, a search came up with a post saying they were kept in 'control panel'.

I can't find anything in Account Settings for either.

Meds, thanks for your reply too...

I believe 'Save As Draft' was a feature of the old forum software which allowed you to save a post message you had started typing out. The forum software was changed in April 2023, so you may be looking at a post prior to then.

The new forum software doesn't have this because 'drafts' are automatically saved as you type. If you enter a post without submitting, then close your browser then come back, it will automatically restore your post message.

 Thanks for your reply.

Ironically it was losing a post because it hadn't been automatically saved as a draft that triggered my initial query.

I've done a search and found the post again that I was referring to, here it is...

It's dated 6th Sept '22 so indeed it  was before when the software was updated in April '23.

Thanks for clarifying...

    • Hello Everyone,  Are you are a patient at FHRGP? I have copied the following information from their website about the next Patient Participation Group meeting to be held at 6.30pm, on Thursday 23rd January 2025. This is an opportunity to come along, listen to what they have to say as per the Agenda, and perhaps ask some pertinent and searching questions about any concerns you may have regarding the agenda items, or any other matters regarding the Practice and the impact and consequences it has on us, the patients.   Patient Participation Group (PPG)  Next Meeting: 6:30pm Thursday 23rd January 2025  Dr Ganesh will continue to share with us the realities of general practice. The agenda will include: The FHRGP Website Allocation of appointments  Accessing non-urgent care  A named GP  Staff name badges  Face to face appointments  Older patients and apps  The long term plan  A patients’ questionnaire All patients are warmly invited to share in this opportunity Time will be given for patients’ issues including topics for PPG discussion in 2025 Please, put the date and time in your diary and come along. Change only happens, when the people (us, the patients) make our voices heard about any concerns we may have, to those who can affect change, and improve how things are run to benefit the patients.  "Things can only get better"
