Has Southwark council stopped free dog poo bags?

I asked for dog poo bags at Grove Vale library today and was told they have not had any in for months and no other libraries have any either.

Has Southwark council stopped supplying them?  Huge shame if that's the case for dog owners and non-dog owners alike (more poo not picked up).

Sheesh! If you can afford a dog you can afford a quid every other week for 40 dog-do bags. Better still, re-use other kinds of bags (like freezer bags, etc.) you have already.

I don't waste money on expensive dog poo scooper bags, I just use old crisp packets. I turn them inside out before placing my hand inside and grasping the dog dirt, then turn the bag the right way round, twist the top, take it home and dispose of it in the bin. This little ruse has saved me a fortune over the years,
even though I haven't got a dog.

There were free dog poo bags in Dulwich library a few weeks ago but nothing last week. We used to use nappy sacks when we could not get poo bags,

Just buy biodegradable or compostable dog poo bags, most are just plastic which will go into landfill and stay plastic for many many years to come.
