For sale - Smeg venting induction hob. Unused, brand new without box

We bought the below Smeg induction hob without realising it needs to go on a kitchen island (which we don't have) and so are selling it. It retails at £2899 but are selling it for £1500. The reason it needs to go on a kitchen island is to fit the venting out kit. It is brand new, unused but not in original box because our builders threw it out, which is why we can't return it.   I thought I’d seen one there. I suppose that the key to operating this scam is having another ATM close by, so the card can be used immediately. Could be that they’ve used the same routine in that location before.

  I want to know whether I am allowed to sell a Swiss Army Knife (in its box). It's not an illegal weapon - more a multitool - and can be carried legally in the UK. Thanks.
