Platform change - Streatham Common

Does anyone on the panel know if you have to change platforms when changing trains at Streatham Common when travelling south from East Dulwich to East Croydon?

Asking for someone with mobility issues

According to http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/stations/SRC/details.html (see Station Map) there are only two working platforms, one for each direction.

You're presumably asking about a weekday. Today there are trains direct to East Croydon. http://www.southernrailway.com/your-journey/plan-your-journey/live-running-information/EDW/departures/

Yes - indeed I checked National Rail and had the same info but there are four platforms in total at Streatham Common.

And it is a week day trip

Just wondering about using Forest Hill as a starting point

If you are starting from Forest Hill the Overground goes direct to East Croyden in about 15 minutes, trains about every 10 minutes.

Just be award there is sometimes quite a step from the train to the platform. My mother found it quite scary and difficult.

And re Forrest Hill, East Croydon trains go from the Perivale side?

And is there a car waiting / parking area there does anyone know?

Now been around there to have a look - there is a car park in Perry Rise near the southbound platfvorm entrance and a pick up point in front of the northbound entrance
