Double Ensuite Bedroom - 3 Month Let in Camberwell / East Dulwich

Hi everyone,

We’ve got a spacious double, ensuite bedroom to sublet for three months from Feb - April (can be somewhat flexible with dates). The room is part of a flat in a converted pub in Camberwell / East Dulwich. It is big, has inbuilt storage and your own private bathroom, as well as underfloor heating. It’s on its own separate floor from the rest of the flat so is very private. There is more than enough room for a desk in the room and there is a desk outside the room in the corridor that can be used should you need additional/separate working space. It comes fully furnished with a bed, bedside tables, desk (if required) and a television.

The shared communal space is a large ground floor open plan kitchen/sitting-room with very tall ceilings, big windows and wood panelling. There is also a bike lockup in the yard.

You’ll be sharing with our absolute dream of a housemate, who is incredibly easy to get a long with – we’re going to miss him when we’re gone!

The flat is about an 8 minute walk to East Dulwich Station (direct links to London Bridge), a 10 minute walk to Denmark Hill Station (direct links to Victoria, Canada Water, Clapham Junction, Blackfriars), and about a 13 minute walk to Peckham Rye Station (overground to Whitechapel, Dalston Junction etc). It’s in a really nice, quiet residential area, which is still very close to good spots like Lordship Lane, Peckham Rye and Camberwell Green.

The room is £600 per person for a couple (preferable) though we are open to discussion for single renters. If it’s a go-er we’ll need to introduce you to our landlord ahead of moving in.

    • Yes, it would be great to see them nationalised. Along with the other water companies they seem to have a great business model: -submit a 5 year plan to the regulator asking for yearly price increases to cover the cost of improving the infrastructure and get them to approve it - carry on paying handsome dividends to shareholders and eye watering salaries to senior executives  - fail to achieve the infrastructure targets at the end of the five years, make some excuses and draw up the next plan Magic!
    • Avoid KFH. Agree with other comments that it is best to talk to lots of people.  Also, (not particularly related to the above agent), I wish I had read the reviews a lot more, rather than relying on numbers.  Depending on whether you are renting, letting, selling or buying the reviews often differ a lot depending on the relationship you have with the agent and it is worth checking whether the good/bad reviews match your situation.
