Nick is really patient instructor, who makes you at ease in the car. I had refresher lessons with Nick several years ago. He was so good, I looked him up again! I wasn't disappointed, after three lessons I feel much more confident and ready to drive on my own.

Currently taking refresher driving lessons with Nick; after so many recommendations on this forum.

He was able to build up my confidence on the roads very quickly; having not driven since I passed my test over 10 years ago.

Great instructor/tutor.

Nice and easy to drive car as well for beginners.

My lessons were interrupted by the pandemic, but so pleased that I persevered with Nick's support. I passed just before Christmas at Bromley, only 2 minors! Very happy with the result. I can definitely recommend Nick to those looking for an experienced, knowledgeable and calm instructor. Very well suited, I think, to older and maybe nervous learners. He doesn't get cross if you make a mistake, which I've certainly come across previously when having lessons. He was very encouraging about taking lessons in my car, as well. Now that I've passed, I've had a couple of further lessons to boost my confidence on dual carriage/motorways. I am nearly 50, passed first time...Thanks, Nick!

    • As the meeting, which I did not attend, was moved, as I understand it, to the Alleyn's School Theatre, one of the few venues large enough to take the members attending (the Dog's upstairs room has a capacity only of 100 as I understand it) the cost, or lack of it, of the Dog's room is immaterial. The costs of the meeting would have included costs of communications to members (printing and postage), printed ballot and voting slips etc. Nowadays these costs (particularly postage) are non-trivial. Much of the membership is of an age where digital communications are not always appreciated or even possible. The material (which I have seen) is not ideal for smart phone viewing, and ballot slips need to be real, not virtual. The cost of setting up electronic voting systems would have been far higher than printing ballot papers.
