Piotr has just renovated our bathroom (wall and floor tiles, white goods installation and new fixtures/plumbing).  We could not be happier with him, he is extremely professional, always arrives on time, is very respectful and most importantly he has very high personal standards for the quality of his work, which means that we can trust him to do an excellent job without excessive supervision. We cannot recommend him highly enough, and will definitely be using him again in future!

Hi all,

Just to second this. Peter did such a brilliant job on my kitchen after I found his name on here. He was polite, efficient and very tidy, and the job he's done is so neat. He also fitted some shelves for me, which was a massive help.

If you're in need of a tiler, I would highly recommend Peter at PW Tiling: [email protected]

We would like to also HIGHLY recommend Peter.  His work is excellent - we are really really happy.   VERY high standard and we ditto everything that has been said above.  Professional, discreet, timely, friendly - if it looks like something extra is needed, he is extremely reasonable.   We have had what was a shower and sink bathroom made into a bath, sink and toilet which he has managed to make look spacious.  Really thrilled.

Based on the kind recommendations on this thread, I contacted Peter to have essentially a complete bathroom renovation. He just finished on Friday. It looks absolutely great, each aspect is just exactly as I had requested and to an extremely high standard. So I am now the happy owner of my dream bathroom. Peter was always clear about the schedule, timely, friendly and left the place tidy at the end of each day so I could use it. I am hoping to have him back for my kitchen next year.

Hi Sam,

I’m hoping to renovate my bathroom in the new year. Out of interest how long was it between you getting a quote to the work being started/completed?

Many thanks!

Peter and the team  were great. The were fast, efficient, no job was too much and ultimately just very good at renovating and re-tiling our bathroom. Can't recommend them enough, they undid some of the damage to grouting and bath enamel that was done previously and made a tricky job look simple.

    • I'm interested to know why you say that? They both sell the same kind of thing, they both have own brand products, and unless I've got it completely wrong, they both seem to be trying to attract the same kind of customer? I would have thought a Waitrose and an M&S so close to each other would have split the customer base (?not sure of the correct term) for both of them? People might shop in both, but I'd have thought each store would still lose out on sales?
    • I thought of going to the States for the World Cup.  But I just can't - Trump, the nonsense of entering the States and what UEFA has done to the sport including enlarging the competition and selling out to Gulf/Middle East States has put me off. I found an article on the likely move of some European football overseas which prompted me to start the thread https://thefsa.org.uk/news/uefa-gives-go-ahead-for-overseas-competitive-fixtures/
    • Unfortunately we can see from the history of the Israel -Palestine situation that a peace accord now won't necessarily lead to long-term peace and statehood for the Palestinians. This has been going on for decades, ever since the Palestine authority gave refugee status to Jews fleeing the Nazis in the 1930s and 1940s. Britain has a shameful role in handing the problem on to the League of Nations and since then the world has watched on and done nothing or very little.
