Cameroon born, ex soldier Adjani is fast becoming one of the most captivating Afro-Expressionist artists of our time.

The paintings are sensitive and autobiographical. They illustrate his response to everyday encounters, relationships, and cultural crises. In the painting series POPPABLE, salvaged bubble wrap represents vulnerability, something that can be easily punctured, like human beings ourselves. The series is an emotional response to the murder of soldier Lee Rigby, in South London, an event of profound significance to an ex-soldier.
