FOR SALE: Challenge "Beacon" Folding Mountain Bike, Excellent Condition, £100

Recommended Posts

I'm selling a Challenge "Beacon" folding mountain bike.  See below for links to photos of the bike in situ, taken earlier this morning.

£100 cash on collection from Dawsons Heights end of Dunstans Road or - if you'd prefer - payment by Paypal transfer.  (I'll give you my paypal details when we've agreed a sale.). NO HAGGLING, PLEASE.

I bought this bike last year because it's one of the few full size bikes which I came across which folded and I have limited storage space in our flat for a full-size bike.  Sadly, shortly after I bought it - and having only used it three or four times locally, I was diagnosed with a serious health condition which means that I'm unable to use the bike as I'd intended.

It's been checked over by a local bike technician who confirmed that it's in very good order.  I'll show you how to operate the folding mechanism when you come to collect the bike.  (It's not rocket science, but there's a knack, as always with these things.)

I'll throw in a sturdier-than-normal weatherproof cover - again in excellent condition.

The bike currently retails via Argos for £240 so you'll be getting a bargain at the asking price.  Hence NO HAGGLING PLEASE.

Here's the spec in red font from the Argos website:

The unique Challenge Beacon bike gives you all the qualities of a mountain bike, with the ability to fold as well.
