Pub near Ganapati

Hello. I've got a reservation for Ganapati tomorrow (very excited!). Will be meeting friends beforehand and wanted to know of any decent pubs which are nearby.

Plenty in the local area - There's Bar Story and Peckham Refreshment rooms on Bleinham Grove, the Victoria on Bellenden Road and the Montpelier on Choumert road - all decent (howver Bar Story and Peckham Refreshmet rooms maybe a bit jampacked with the bridge and tunnel crowd who come down for Franks so the other pubs may be a bit less corwded) . There is another pub on Bellenden Road between Ganapati and the Vicroia but i have forgotten its name (and i've never been in so cannot recomemdn it as either good or bad!)

Bar Story is probably closest but The Victoria and The Montpelier are also very close

Bar Story - studenty, industrial-ish feel

Victoria Inn - newly-migrated affluent middle classes enjoying a chorizo scotch egg with a Peroni

Prince Albert - probably good if you want to watch the cricket (?)

The Montpelier - more of a mixture

Ahh Prince Albert - that's the other pub.

I have to say it looks friendly enough as a pub but i have been put off by the odd blakc glss external paint job 9completely irrational i know!)

Is it a coincidence that Bellenden Road has a pub in it called the Prince Albert?
