fiddlin'joe
I'm looking for a guitar teacher for my 17 year old son. In terms of music that he likes, he says he's interested in learning fingerpicking (although I guess he needs to learn the basics first!). He listens to quite a lot of acoustic guitar stuff as well as indie stuff, has a curious interest in Japanese pop and loves folk too. Ideally we would be looking for someone who could do one-to-one lessons at my flat, which is 5 minutes walk from Honor Oak tube station. hml
I can recommend John Hudson. I've been taking lessons with him since last year and he's very good. He teaches most styles. You can find his contact details on his website - https://www.johnhudsonguitar.co.uk/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/344093-guitar-teacher-for-my-17-year-old-son/#findComment-1663667 Share on other sites
mima08
I second John Hudson - he's been teaching my husband for over 10 years covering lots of different styles. MusicoSouth
Hi there I imagine you've found a guitar teacher now, but if not, I'd be very happy to help. I run a small music teaching service with a group of local music teachers, and I have some great guitar teachers on my books, including a really talented chap based in Honor Oak. If you're interested, do get in touch with me.
