Spartacus
Came across this recently and can't wait to see how Southwark and the pro cycling lobby react to this. Flying cars are now reality at https://jetson.com/ Although as a side note, next delivery window 2026 and at a cost of over £100 thousand - can't see it replacing Volvo SUVs just yet... malumbu
Not sure why this will wind people up. I work in transport and a former colleague moved to a flying car company. They went bust. It's niche/novelty or for those who don't know what to do with their money. It won't be mainstream. Whereas cycling is an excellent solution for many people's transport needs in urban areas. Spartacus
At one time cars were seen as niche and for the rich with too much money, but mass production and automation of production lines soon placed cars in the hands of everyone. Whilst I think the Jetson one won't be the answer, you can bet your bottom dollar that flying cars will be on (or is that above) the streets sooner than we think 🤔 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/344859-is-this-the-solution/#findComment-1665376 Share on other sites
Rockets
Can you imagine school drop-off and pick-up times with a bunch of those buzzing around?! The fact this relies on the user to pilot it is the really scary thing. Seen plenty of drones adapted for carrying people but they are autonomous.
