Two free chest of drawers

Recommended Posts

**Free chest of drawers (2x doubles) to anyone who can get them out of my house.**

I have two double chest of drawers that I am replacing. They were custom built by a carpenter for the previous owner of the house who left them behind. They are attractive but large.

They are too large to get down the stairs and out of the house as they are. Unfortunately they are glued together as they were not built to be able to take apart. So you will need to have carpentry skills to dissemble them to get them out of the house and then put back together or repurpose.

Please let me know if of interest. It would be a shame to just cut them down and take to a tip.

The dimensions are h: 89cm, w: 184cm, d: 50cm.

    • Is it just me or does it feel like the governments romours, hints and leaks about what Reeves may do in the budget is spooking the horses?  Reports in the media have hinted at  proposals to change council tax and stamp duty are causing the housing market to stall, the idea of changing the vat threshold is causing concern for small businesses and bank shares took.a hit as a tax hike is floated. Whilst nothing is concrete till budget day, surly the fall out from rumours is doing a lot of harm to the economy and anxiety for a lot of people.  It feels almost like we are being shown the worst case scenarios so when a bad one hits us we will all go, oh its not as bad as xyz would have been.  Whilst there are always pre budget rumours, it does feel a lot like its out if control this time.
    • Might well be the cause if you were free until this change….

    • Another solution to exclude them is to use barbed wire. A single strand of wire strategically placed can be very effective. I have a spare roll listed here
