  • dulwich1955 changed the title to Estate Agents putting Signboards up on your House without permission

Would anyone, seeing the bulk of the sign, bother to look at the details on the side? (Especially with the white/dark blue colour scheme.)

If I'd seen it on the street I'm sure that my eyes would have glided over it, exactly as they did when I saw the initial post - "Some guy's had an estate agent board put up outside his house in error."

A quick Image Google of "estate agents sponsoring events uk" shows how it can be done

    • I took the advice of the sauce - I used mustard- and it was in place this morning. They don't get a shock if they chew through it. I've now seen them living in the jungle that is a neighbor's garden - fence high in brambles,  bindweed and buddlia. The kitchen windows and door  are now completely covered. Perhaps the foxes will keep the rats down

    • Errr the signs on the fences....there were signs telling people how long the disruption was going to be under the original plans (diversions of public footpaths etc) and now the council has attached a new one over the top telling them that Brockwell Live are responsible for remedying the problems and the fences will be up "until further notice". I suspect they are going have to re-seed or re-lay large swathes of grass and that requires some time to bed in so I suspect the Brockwell Wall will be up for some time. If you want to go look yourself head on over to the BMX track at the top of the hill and you will find one of the signs there - I was there today.
