Help moving 4 boxes upstairs this coming Mon 3rd June

Recommended Posts

My flat pack furniture delivery slot was changed to this coming Monday and unfortunately my helper is no longer able to assist me with bringing 4 boxes (2 x 38kg, 2x 21kg) up one flight of stairs. Friends not wfh that day either and unfortunately not able to do it myself.

So I was hoping someone might be able to help out and come by (likely midday - 5pm, depending on  delivery drop off on the day, Barry Road) and help getting this upstairs in return for a small handling fee. It shouldn’t take more than 10min .

Please DM me if you know someone free that day.

    • ...and so, 4 years on from the "dramatic planning meeting" that approved the "meganursery", how has it all worked out in reality? The building looks nice from the outside - but I don't know anything more. Did either of the nursery businesses on EDG fail because there was no demand for nursery places in East Dulwich? Did Carmageddon on East Dulwich Grove get worse? Were pre-COVID work patterns abandoned forever (lol)? Were some of the concerns expressed in opposition to the planning application a teensy bit overblown...? https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/southwark/mega-nursery-approved-amid-dramatic-planning-meeting/

    • Reading The words 'Artisan'  and 'Curated' when refering to my 'Breakfast Bundle' frankly make me feel a bit..🤢
    • I would recommend Coopers bakehouse, which offer a similar service to B&C but it’s just focussed on really good bread, decent prices and keeps for ages (also freezes well).  Delivered by bike.
