I am looking for a shoe mender that can stitch the strap of a sandal. Any recommendations...

The place by ED station (near Blackbird bakery, can't remember the name) is good.

Merrifields, turn right out of ED station, across the road from the Vale, he sewed a buckle on a favourite sandal of mine and did a very good job.

The guy at the back of the dry cleaners by the post office on Lordship are very good.

The guy from Merrifields is absolutely excellent but I think he's on holiday now, don't know how long for though.

Mr Merryfield is brilliant. He even tells you when something isn't worth doing; even though he does himself out of business that way.
