I've more or less dropped out now, just keep forgetting, so not much point. I wouldn't have dropped out, but if AqM can quit after just dropping 6 points, then I think I can stop having forgotten half the weeks!

Although I'll probably still do occasional ones.

Scared to even make a prediction on LFC Vs United this weekend!

Tut tut Otta. Last time you actually said you couldn't be bothered yourself (not forgot) but expressed horror that Aqm could drop out. None of my business but you're putting a slightly different slant on it now and using Aqm as an excuse. Whatever her reasons for dropping out there may be more to it than the loss of a few points. I dropped out myself last season and it was nothing to do with points won or lost.

Would you drop out if you were in contention? If not then surely this is you taking your ball home as you so described Aqm's actions.

No, this is me just saying I've forgotten so many times that whether I do my predictions or not, will make no difference to the leaderboard, so I may or may not bother doing them.

AqM was right up there, and because she had one slip (with over half a season to go) she quit. That seemed bizarre to me, but her choice obviously.

Robert the Bruce..

Whilst in the cave and at the depths of despair, King Robert happened to watch a spider attempting to build a web - the spider would spin then fall, get up and spin again and again relentlessly until it eventually made the web.

Don't give up Otta

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
