PART TIME/FULL TIME BUILDER NEEDED - London - ?TBA ? IMMEDIATE START

Recommended Posts

I am in need of a builder with ideally a NVQ level 2 and 2+ years experience to assist me in various tasks from repairing small maintenance jobs, to building an extension from scratch, you?ll build whatever the client wants. This position is one of variety, where you?ll meet new clients, new employers and learn new skills on a daily basis, within and around the London.

Your daily activity will depend on your level of experience and how specialised you are. When you first start out, don?t expect to be on massive building projects, as you?re more likely to be doing some of the following laborious tasks:

- Prepping and cleaning the construction areas

- Delivering and distributing supplies (expect some heavy lifting)

- Assisting workers with equipment

- Helping on small tasks

- Learning new skills from experienced builders

It?s also useful if you have the following attributes:

- Good co-ordination skills

- Ability to work well in a team

- Can stay calm under pressure and still make good decisions

- Attention to detail

- Multi-tasker

(To be considered for this position you MUST have a full UK drivers license and own your own vehicle.)

Your working hours will depend on the project.

    • They’ve backed away from pretending they produce their own goods recently. That claim sat at the centre of the misdirection for years. They’ve now accepted they can’t sustain it, so they’re beginning to highlight the local independent bakeries whose products they actually sell. The business is essentially a courier model running on a slim margin.
    • Another sparrow hawk visor to our cherry tree at the weekend.  Our robin survived, but we may be a sparrow down.     any thoughts on bird feeders & bird baths with the current bird flu?  I try to wash out the bird bath most days when at home, but not on the 3 days in a row that I’m in the office & the bird feeders rather less regularly. Would it be better not to have at all (as my partner thinks)?
    • OOOPS. My daughter just had to pay a five pound fine. I hadn't put a stamp on it. I remember wondering whether to use a  first or second class stamp,  and clearly when I posted it I still hadn't decided (but sadly didn't notice). I feel really bad for suspecting a postie might have  opened it.  Sorry posties.
