Airport taxi Recommendations

I was wondering if anyone had local airport taxi recommendations. We are in Sydenham Hill and will need to go to Gatwick next month and I wonder if getting a taxi might be better than Airport parking.

Train is easier, bus or walk down to Sydenham, Norwood Junction, East Croydon, Gatwick airport.  If it is an early flight then taxi or Uber to East Croydon.  I always travel light even with young family.

We used Rye Cars recently to get to Heathrow early on a Sunday.  Turned up on time and got us there without any fuss.  Cost £67 from East Dulwich.  We probably would have gone via public transport but due to the time we travelled it was too early for trains.
