  1. thanks for the info. Have PM'd you.
  2. Hi all We live in a sixties built house that still has the warm air central heating system. I think at best it needs servicing and at worst replacing. Can anyone recommend anyone? Thanks
  3. It's my partners birthday soon and she'd like a head massage/ back and shoulder massage as a present. Anybody got any recommendations in the area? Thanks
  4. Anybody know a reliable mobile mechanic in the area? Thanks
  5. I've got a friend with a bongo and there's a forum/club called bongo fury which deals with all things bongo!
  6. White dress and sandals for a teenage girl found at bus stop on lordship lane near horniman museum. Let me know if it's yours.
  7. We stayed in August once and they had the most amazing fireworks displays every night around the bay. It is an annual competition where international pyrotechnicians (if that's the word) compete for a prize.
  8. The old DFC comic strips were collated into books. You can reserve them in the library or buy them on ebay. Just google DFC library.
  9. Dymchurch is great. Hour and a bit with a clear run. Massive expanse of sandy beach (check tide times). Feels like stepping back in time and a tiny fairground that is really for under eights and works out really cheap per ride. There's also the small steam train that runs down to Dungeness. A really full day out.
  10. Going to see them next week and trying to work out transpor. Just wondered what time they came on at (7.30 on the dot?) and also what time it finished. Thanks
  11. My daughter hasn't had her haircut for a couple of years (it was in Wales). Any recommendations for local hairdressers? I've seen a thread which mentions the little clipper and Village Way. Any others? Thanks
  12. We have a Peugeot 307SW. It's not got the bulk of some of the mpv's but I have 2 extra seats in the garage and they can be put in and rearranged. Most of the time it's just a 'normal' car but if you want it to be six or seven seats you can change it in minutes. You can even remove all the back seats to give a large rear area. It's not too high and not too long. For cars which don't obviously look like people carriers the Honda FRV is a six seater, the Toyota Corolla verso is a 7 seater, Fiat Multipla is a 6 seater. We've got 2 kids and having the option of extra seats for grandparents/friends is great.
