No Longer Available Old Macbook Air - for recycling?

Is there an organisation who want old computers? I am not tech-savvy enough to recondition my old Macbook Air but it might be a good computer for someone who knows how to do this. It picked up some malware and was going really slowly. I did try restoring factory settings but no real improvement. 

If not, it will go in 'small appliances' at the recycling centre.

You can return them to any Apple store for recycling. They will remove any data.
