8 or 9 years ago not liking the bed that the NHS supplied me with I bought my own.

The engineerwho came to service the bed told me that as it was only a matter of oiling all moving parts and tightening ?bolts for whicha torque is needed andscrews we didn't really need an engineer.   Unforunately both husband and i are now too decrepit   to get down on the floor to do this.     I then forgot allabout it and lost the paperwork when we moved. \i do kmow that the bed is a Sidhill. The height of the whole of it can be raised and lowered.   Both ends off it can be moved indepedently,  there is amotor for each end- these motors are easy to disconnect. the electrics are fine.

If you haveor know someone who has a bed like the above and gets it serviced I would be verygrateful if you wd be so kind as to give me thier contact details.  Please email them to me:- gabymitchell.integrate @gmail.com

Many thanks

    • I second that, Core Soft Tissue Therapy - www.coredulwich.co.uk — they’re brilliant if you need a proper Sports Massage or help with any aches and pains, they do Chiropractic, Osteo & Acupuncture as well. I always feel so much better — can definitely recommend!
    • Just to clarify the charges for requesting books.  For getting them from Southwark library stock, it's now  a still very reasonable 70p, which includes delivery and collection at any branch.  I assume that includes new books which have been ordered for stock, and been assigned a catalogue entry, but haven't yet reached the shelves.  Otherwise, Inter-library loans or purchase requests cost £4. See https://www.southwark.gov.uk/culture-and-sport/libraries/join-library/fees-and-late-return-charges. I belong to a few other London borough libraries too, which can quite often be useful, given that buying and stock retention is going to vary between them.  PS And the free films, when running, are weekly (Mondays 1.30 pm iirc), with I think some sort of theme for each month. https://www.southwark.gov.uk/culture-and-sport/libraries/library-activities-adults
    • Thanks for coming, James!
