Bells don't really cut the mustard in places like that where there a high concentrations of pedestrians. You need to expect them to be sharing your space and slow right down accordingly. It's the same in the City of London and the West End.

I have reported the terrible potholes feeding into Rye Lane using TFL's reportit tool yesterday around noon - lets see how quickly that corner is fixed.

As they currently are, the road on that bend (tesco express heading towards the asda) is a bad enough state to buffet cyclists into other traffic.

    • The 185 is often the same. But that's why buses sometimes (and annoyingly) stop to "regulate the service". To be fair, it's often due to traffic conditions. If there is not much traffic, the one behind catches up with the one in front.
    • I imagine this is because of the average  additional time involved, due to the styles. You could have asked the reason? I will ask, next time I'm in there.  Many salons have this differential pricing.
    • Maybe a humidifier, or bowl of water near her bed might help. Sometimes dry air can cause a sore throat
    • Daughter needs surgery very soon but is getting sore throat in mornings I’m wondering if an air purifier might work… anyone recommends any? Wondering if I could borrow or buy one cheaply somewhere?
