Hi! Does anyone know how to dispose of the below in the most environmental friendly way please?

- worn out trainers (I heard Nike started to recycle them but they are not Nike so don’t think they would accept them)

- babybel cheese wax (I don’t want to reuse it to make a candle 😉)

Thank you!!!

Great! Thank you both!!

For future reference:

Post your scrap wax (any colour, scent, size and in all types of container including glass) to:

The Recycled Candle Company

Trouble is, the postage would probably be exorbitant 🙄

There are trainer and other recycling bins in Decathlon Surrey quays. I can't remember exactly all the products accepted.

Also, in case anyone's interested, you can get a freepost envelope to recycle disposable razors via Gillette and terracycle.

  • Thanks 1

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
