Sue
Getting a bit anxious in case my grandchildren (visiting next week) somehow get separated from us in a crowded place, particularly as they won't be familiar with their surroundings. Worst scenario would be the tube :(Don't want to embarrass them by writing mobile numbers on their arm etc..Have left it a bit late now - does anybody know of anywhere locally I can get some sort of ID bracelets which you can write on with waterproof pen? I suppose something like they have in hospitals would work. Thanks! srisky
How old are your grandchildren? If old enough to understand and explain to another adult, you could write emergency contact numbers etc on a small piece of card, attach it to a belt loop or something similar with some yarn and instruct them to show it a responsible adult if they get lost. Probably wouldn't work for a child under 4y. espelli
Jojo Maman Bebe sell these http://www.jojomamanbebe.co.uk/sp+littlelife-safety-id-straps-in-baby-and-toddler-out-and-about+b1329 the Lordship Lane branch might have them in stock. Otherwise you could write your contact details on a bit of paper and put it in a shoe. Inkmaiden
I know it's still essentially writing your mobile number on their arms, but I bought some of these...http://www.kattoo.co.ukThey were posted quickly as well, they arrived 2 days after I ordered them.
